Article L3243-3 of the French Labour Code

Acceptance of a pay slip by an employee without protest or reservation does not constitute a waiver of payment of all or part of the salary and allowances or wage accessories due to the employee pursuant to the law, regulations, a collective labour agreement or contract.

Nor can this acceptance constitute a settled account within the meaning of article 1269 of the Code of Civil Procedure.

L’acceptation sans protestation ni réserve d’un bulletin de paie par le travailleur ne peut valoir de sa part renonciation au paiement de tout ou partie du salaire et des indemnités ou accessoires de salaire qui lui sont dus en application de la loi, du règlement, d’une convention ou d’un accord collectif de travail ou d’un contrat.

Cette acceptation ne peut valoir non plus compte arrêté et réglé au sens de l’article 1269 du code de procédure civile.
