Article L343-11 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

In cases where the extension or renewal of the stay in the waiting area has been granted, the administrative authority shall inform the liberties and detention judge and the public prosecutor of the need to transfer the foreign national to another waiting area and shall carry out this transfer.
The extension or renewal of the holding period in the waiting area shall not be interrupted by the transfer of the foreign national to another waiting area.
The administrative authority shall immediately notify the liberties and detention judge and the public prosecutor with territorial jurisdiction of the arrival of the foreign national in the new waiting area.

Article L343-11

Dans les cas où la prolongation ou le renouvellement du maintien en zone d’attente a été accordé, l’autorité administrative informe le juge des libertés et de la détention ainsi que le procureur de la République de la nécessité de transférer l’étranger dans une autre zone d’attente et procède à ce transfert.
La prolongation ou le renouvellement du maintien en zone d’attente n’est pas interrompu par le transfert de l’étranger dans une autre zone d’attente.
L’autorité administrative avise immédiatement le juge des libertés et de la détention et le procureur de la République territorialement compétent de l’arrivée de l’étranger dans la nouvelle zone d’attente.
