Article L411-2 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

The sworn agents appointed by the President of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée, approved by the Minister for Culture under the conditions laid down by decree in the Conseil d’Etat, are authorised to :

1° Record infringements of the provisions of Books I, II and III of the Intellectual Property Code, in accordance with the provisions of article L. 331-2 of the same code.

2° Refer the matter to the Autorité de régulation de la communication audiovisuelle et numérique, in accordance with article L. 331-19 of the said code.

Article L411-2

Les agents assermentés désignés par le président du Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée, agréés par le ministre chargé de la culture dans des conditions prévues par un décret en Conseil d’Etat, sont habilités à :

1° Constater les infractions aux dispositions des livres Ier, II et III du code de la propriété intellectuelle, conformément aux dispositions de l’article L. 331-2 du même code.

2° Saisir l’Autorité de régulation de la communication audiovisuelle et numérique, conformément à l’article L. 331-19 dudit code.
