Article L4321-4 of the French Labour Code

For the application of the provisions of this Title, decrees of the Conseil d’Etat, issued after consultation with the professional organisations of employers and employees concerned, shall determine the organisational measures, conditions of implementation and technical requirements to which the use of work equipment and means of protection subject to the safety obligations defined in Article L. 4321-1 is subject.

Pour l’application des dispositions du présent titre, des décrets en Conseil d’Etat, pris après avis des organisations professionnelles d’employeurs et de salariés intéressées, déterminent les mesures d’organisation, les conditions de mise en oeuvre et les prescriptions techniques auxquelles est subordonnée l’utilisation des équipements de travail et moyens de protection soumis aux obligations de sécurité définies à l’article L. 4321-1.
