Article L4742-1 of the French Labour Code

Undermining or attempting to undermine either the constitution or the free appointment of members of the health, safety and working conditions committee, in particular by disregarding the provisions of Book IV of Part Two relating to the protection of staff representatives on this committee, is punishable by one year’s imprisonment and a fine of €7,500.

Undermining the proper functioning of the committee is punishable by a fine of €7,500.

Le fait de porter atteinte ou de tenter de porter atteinte soit à la constitution, soit à la libre désignation des membres du comité d’hygiène, de sécurité et des conditions de travail, notamment par la méconnaissance des dispositions du livre IV de la deuxième partie relatives à la protection des représentants du personnel à ce comité, est puni d’un emprisonnement d’un an et d’une amende de 7 500 €.

Le fait de porter atteinte au fonctionnement régulier du comité est puni d’une amende de 7 500 €.
