Article L511-75 of the French Commercial code

Any bearer of a bill of exchange has the right to make copies of it.

The copy must reproduce exactly the original with the endorsements and all other particulars appearing thereon. It must indicate where it stops.

It may be endorsed and guaranteed in the same manner and with the same effects as the original.
