An insurance undertaking or intermediary that carries out distribution via an insurance intermediary on an ancillary basis as referred to in article L. 513-1 shall ensure that:
1° Information is made available to the prospective policyholder or subscriber, prior to the conclusion of the contract, on the identity and address of the intermediary, as well as on complaints procedures;
2° Appropriate and proportionate measures are taken to ensure compliance with the provisions of Article L. 521-1 and that the customer’s requirements and needs are taken into account before the contract is offered;
3° The information document on the insurance product referred to in article L. 112-2 is provided to the potential subscriber before the contract is concluded;
4° The potential policyholder or member is informed of the possibility of purchasing the goods or services provided by the supplier separately.
