The employment contract, associated with the granting of aid for professional integration under an employment support contract, concluded for a fixed period, may be extended for a total period of up to twenty-four months, or five years for employees aged fifty and over who are experiencing particular difficulties that prevent their long-term integration into employment, and for people recognised as disabled workers.
By way of derogation, this employment contract may be extended beyond the maximum duration provided for, in order to enable the completion of a vocational training action in progress at the end of the contract and provided for under the aid granted, without this extension being able to exceed the end of the action concerned or, for employees aged fifty-eight or over, until the date on which they are authorised to claim their pension rights.
