The deliberative body of a public establishment for inter-municipal cooperation may set up consultative committees on any matters of inter-municipal interest falling within its remit over all or part of the community territory.
The committees may be consulted by the chairman on any question or project concerning local public services and facilities relating to the purpose for which they were set up and they may forward to the chairman any proposal concerning any problem of inter-municipal interest relating to the same purpose.
They include all persons appointed for one year on the basis of their representativeness or expertise, by the deliberative body, on the proposal of the Chairman, and in particular representatives of local associations. They are chaired by a member of the governing body appointed by the Chairman.
