With the exception of those in the second to fourth paragraphs of article L. 2122-4, the provisions of the chapitre II of title II of book I of part two relating to the mayor and deputy mayors are applicable to the president and members of the bureau of public establishments for inter-municipal cooperation, insofar as they are not contrary to the provisions of this title.

The provisions of Chapter One of Title III of Book One of Part Two relating to the control of legality and the publication and entry into force of the acts of communes are applicable to public establishments for inter-municipal cooperation. Laws and regulations concerning the administrative control of communes are applicable to public establishments of inter-communal cooperation.
