Article L522-3 of the French Consumer Code

The limitation period for the administration’s action to sanction a breach punishable by an administrative fine not exceeding €3,000 for a natural person or €15,000 for a legal person is one completed year from the day on which the breach was committed and is completed according to the distinctions specified in Article L. 522-2.

Article L522-3

Le délai de prescription de l’action de l’administration pour la sanction d’un manquement passible d’une amende administrative n’excédant pas 3 000 euros pour une personne physique ou 15 000 euros pour une personne morale est d’une année révolue à compter du jour où le manquement a été commis et s’accomplit selon les distinctions spécifiées à l’article L. 522-2.
