Article L531-24 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

The French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons rules under an accelerated procedure in the following cases:
1° The applicant comes from a country considered to be a safe country of origin within the meaning of Article L. 531-25;
2° The applicant has submitted an application for reconsideration which is not inadmissible;
3° The applicant is held in detention pursuant to Article L. 754-3.

Article L531-24

L’Office français de protection des réfugiés et apatrides statue en procédure accélérée dans les cas suivants :
1° Le demandeur provient d’un pays considéré comme un pays d’origine sûr au sens de l’article L. 531-25 ;
2° Le demandeur a présenté une demande de réexamen qui n’est pas irrecevable ;
3° Le demandeur est maintenu en rétention en application de l’article L. 754-3.
