Article L554-2 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

The terms under which an unaccompanied minor who benefits from the provisions of the second paragraph of article L. 5221-5 of the Labour Code and who files an asylum application is authorised to continue his or her contract while the application is being processed are defined by decree in the Conseil d’Etat.

Les modalités selon lesquelles le mineur non accompagné qui bénéficie des dispositions du deuxième alinéa de l’article L. 5221-5 du code du travail et qui dépose une demande d’asile est autorisé à poursuivre son contrat pendant la durée de traitement de la demande sont définies par décret en Conseil d’Etat.
