Article L6112-2 of the French Labour Code

The principle of non-discrimination set out in Article L. 6112-1 does not preclude the introduction, on a transitional basis, by means of regulations or agreements, of measures taken for the sole benefit of women with a view to establishing equal opportunities between women and men in the field of training.

These measures are intended, in particular, to correct imbalances in the distribution of women and men in training activities and to promote access to training for women wishing to resume a professional activity interrupted for family reasons.

Article L6112-2
