Article L6114-2 of the French Public Health Code

The contracts referred to in article L. 6114-1 determine the strategic objectives of health care institutions on the basis of the regional health project defined in article L. 1434-1, in particular the regional health plan defined in article L. 1434-3 or the inter-regional plan referred to in 2° of article L. 1434-6.

These strategic objectives concern the institution’s territorial positioning and internal management.

The contract may also determine other strategic objectives in line with the missions of health care institutions as defined in articles L. 6111-1 to L. 6111-7.

Each objective is accompanied by a single indicator.

Contracts specify the commitments made by institutions, in particular to return to financial equilibrium, which may give rise to funding from the allocation provided for inarticle L. 162-22-14 of the Social Security Code.

Les contrats mentionnés à l’article L. 6114-1 déterminent les objectifs stratégiques des établissements de santé sur la base du projet régional de santé défini à l’article L. 1434-1, notamment du schéma régional de santé défini à l’article L. 1434-3 ou du schéma interrégional mentionné au 2° de l’article L. 1434-6.

Ces objectifs stratégiques concernent le positionnement territorial de l’établissement et le pilotage interne de l’établissement.

Le contrat peut également déterminer d’autres objectifs stratégiques en lien avec les missions des établissements de santé définies aux articles L. 6111-1 à L. 6111-7.

Chaque objectif est assorti d’un indicateur unique.

Les contrats précisent les engagements des établissements, notamment de retour à l’équilibre financier, qui peuvent donner lieu à un financement par la dotation prévue à l’article L. 162-22-14 du code de la sécurité sociale.
