Article L6141-2-1 of the French Public Health Code

The resources of public health institutions may include :

1° Proceeds from hospital activity and health and social charges;

2° Subsidies and other financial assistance from the State, local authorities and their groupings and from any public entity, as well as allocations and subsidies from compulsory social security schemes;

3° Income from movable or immovable property and royalties from intellectual property rights;

4° Remuneration for services rendered;

5° Proceeds from disposals or fixed assets;

6° Loans and advances, within the limits and subject to the reservations set out in Article L. 6145-16-1;

7° Donations, gifts, bequests and their income;

8° Any other income authorised by the laws and regulations in force.

Les ressources des établissements publics de santé peuvent comprendre :

1° Les produits de l’activité hospitalière et de la tarification sanitaire et sociale ;

2° Les subventions et autres concours financiers de l’Etat, des collectivités territoriales et de leurs groupements et de toute personne publique, ainsi que les dotations et subventions des régimes obligatoires de sécurité sociale ;

3° Les revenus de biens meubles ou immeubles et les redevances de droits de propriété intellectuelle ;

4° La rémunération des services rendus ;

5° Les produits des aliénations ou immobilisations ;

6° Les emprunts et avances, dans les limites et sous les réserves prévues à l’article L. 6145-16-1 ;

7° Les libéralités, dons, legs et leurs revenus ;

8° Toutes autres recettes autorisées par les lois et règlements en vigueur.
