Article L6222-15 of the French Labour Code

Any young worker may enter into successive apprenticeship contracts to prepare for diplomas or titles certifying different qualifications.

If the apprentice has already signed two successive contracts at the same level, he must obtain authorisation from the director of the last apprentice training centre he attended to sign a third apprenticeship contract at the same level.

There is no time limit between the two contracts.

Tout jeune travailleur peut souscrire des contrats d’apprentissage successifs pour préparer des diplômes ou titres sanctionnant des qualifications différentes.

Lorsque l’apprenti a déjà conclu deux contrats successifs de même niveau, il doit obtenir l’autorisation du directeur du dernier centre de formation d’apprentis qu’il a fréquenté pour conclure un troisième contrat d’apprentissage du même niveau.

Il n’est exigé aucune condition de délai entre deux contrats.
