Article L6353-7 of the French Labour Code

If, as a result of duly recognised force majeure, the trainee is prevented from following the training course, he may terminate the contract. In this case, only the services actually provided will be remunerated in proportion to their contractual value.

Si, par suite de force majeure dûment reconnue, le stagiaire est empêché de suivre la formation, il peut rompre le contrat. Dans ce cas, seules les prestations effectivement dispensées sont rémunérées à due proportion de leur valeur prévue au contrat.
