Article L71-113-1 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

Expenditure incurred by the territorial collectivity of French Guiana for school transport by river is eligible for compensation. The resources allocated by the State to the collectivity in respect of this compensation are equivalent to the expenditure incurred by the department of French Guyana during the year preceding the publication of the loi n° 2007-224 du 21 février 2007 portant dispositions statutaires et institutionnelles relatives à l’outre-mer.

Article L71-113-1

Les dépenses engagées par la collectivité territoriale de Guyane pour le transport scolaire par voie fluviale ouvrent droit à compensation. Les ressources attribuées par l’Etat à la collectivité au titre de cette compensation sont équivalentes aux dépenses engagées par le département de la Guyane durant l’année précédant la publication de la loi n° 2007-224 du 21 février 2007 portant dispositions statutaires et institutionnelles relatives à l’outre-mer.
