Article L7121-7 of the French Labour Code

The employment contract may be common to several artists when it concerns artists performing in the same number or musicians belonging to the same orchestra.

In this case, the employment contract identifies all the artists hired by name and includes the amount of salary allocated to each of them. It may be signed by a single artist, provided that the signatory has received a written mandate from each of the artists included in the contract.

The artist contracting under these conditions retains the status of employee.

Article L7121-7
