Article L7122-11 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

Sessions of the Assembly of French Guyana shall be public.

However, at the request of five members or the President, the Assembly may decide, without debate, by an absolute majority of the members present or represented, that it shall meet in camera.

Without prejudice to the powers conferred on the Chairman by article L. 7122-12, these sittings may be broadcast by audiovisual communication media.

Les séances de l’assemblée de Guyane sont publiques.

Néanmoins, sur la demande de cinq membres ou du président, l’assemblée peut décider, sans débat, à la majorité absolue des membres présents ou représentés, qu’elle se réunit à huis clos.

Sans préjudice des pouvoirs que le président tient de l’article L. 7122-12, ces séances peuvent être retransmises par les moyens de communication audiovisuelle.
