Article L7225-3 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

At least fifteen days before the meeting of the Assembly of Martinique, the President of the Executive Council of Martinique transmits to the President of the Assembly of Martinique a report on each of the matters to be examined by the Assembly and, where applicable, the corresponding draft deliberations.

In the event of an emergency, the period provided for in the first paragraph may be shortened by the president of the executive council, but may not be less than three clear days.

Without prejudice to the application of article L. 7222-10, the agenda is set by the President of the Assembly after consultation with the Vice-Presidents. It shall include, by priority and in the order set by the President of the Executive Council, the matters designated by the latter.

The projects on which the Martinique Economic, Social, Environmental, Cultural and Education Council must be consulted shall be sent to the President of the Assembly by the President of the Executive Council, together with the opinion of this Council.

Quinze jours au moins avant la réunion de l’assemblée de Martinique, le président du conseil exécutif de Martinique transmet au président de l’assemblée de Martinique un rapport sur chacune des affaires qui doivent être examinées par l’assemblée ainsi que, le cas échéant, les projets de délibération correspondants.

En cas d’urgence, le délai prévu au premier alinéa peut être abrégé par le président du conseil exécutif sans pouvoir être toutefois inférieur à trois jours francs.

Sans préjudice de l’application de l’article L. 7222-10, l’ordre du jour est fixé par le président de l’assemblée après consultation des vice-présidents. Il comporte, par priorité et dans l’ordre que le président du conseil exécutif a fixé, les affaires désignées par celui-ci.

Les projets sur lesquels le conseil économique, social, environnemental, de la culture et de l’éducation de Martinique est obligatoirement consulté sont adressés au président de l’assemblée par le président du conseil exécutif, assortis de l’avis de ce conseil.
