Article L7226-6 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The Executive Council of Martinique shall make available to the Council the resources necessary for its operation. These resources must in particular enable the secretariat of the meetings of the Council and its sections and commissions to be provided. The Executive Council shall also make the services of the territorial collectivity or part thereof available to the Council on a permanent or temporary basis, in particular to enable it to carry out studies on any economic, social, environmental, cultural, educational or sporting project within its remit.

The President of the Economic, Social, Environmental, Cultural and Educational Council shall organise and direct the staff and services made available to the Council.

Le conseil exécutif de Martinique met à la disposition du conseil les moyens nécessaires à son fonctionnement. Ces moyens doivent permettre notamment d’assurer le secrétariat des séances du conseil et de ses sections et commissions. Le conseil exécutif met également les services de la collectivité territoriale ou une partie de ceux-ci à la disposition du conseil à titre permanent ou temporaire, notamment pour lui permettre de réaliser des études sur tout projet à caractère économique, social, environnemental, culturel, éducatif ou sportif de sa compétence.

Le président du conseil économique, social, environnemental, de la culture et de l’éducation organise et dirige les personnels et les services mis à la disposition du conseil.
