Article L753-7 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

In the event of a rejection or inadmissibility decision by the French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons, the foreign national may, within forty-eight hours of being notified of this decision, apply to the president of the administrative court to suspend enforcement of the removal until the expiry of the time limit for appealing to the Cour nationale du droit d’asile or, if the matter is referred to the latter, either until the date on which the court’s decision is read out in open court or, if it is decided by order, until the date on which it is notified.

Article L753-7

En cas de décision de rejet ou d’irrecevabilité par l’Office français de protection des réfugiés et apatrides, l’étranger peut, dans les quarante-huit heures suivant la notification de cette décision, demander au président du tribunal administratif de suspendre l’exécution de éloignement jusqu’à l’expiration du délai de recours devant la Cour nationale du droit d’asile ou, si celle-ci est saisie, soit jusqu’à la date de la lecture en audience publique de la décision de la cour, soit, s’il est statué par ordonnance, jusqu’à la date de la notification de celle-ci.
