Article R1112-10 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

For a referendum decided by a commune, the result is publicly proclaimed by the president of the first polling station and immediately posted by the mayor.

A copy of the minutes, to which are attached with their annexes the minutes of the voting operations in the polling stations, is sent to the representative of the State in the department or the collectivity.

Pour un référendum décidé par une commune, le résultat est proclamé publiquement par le président du premier bureau et affiché aussitôt par les soins du maire.

Un exemplaire du procès-verbal, auquel sont joints avec leurs annexes les procès-verbaux des opérations de vote dans les bureaux de vote, est adressé au représentant de l’Etat dans le département ou la collectivité.
