Article R134-13 of the French Tourism Code

The decision of the decision-making body establishing an inter-municipal tourist office in a form other than that of an industrial and commercial establishment must at least set out :

– the legal status of the tourist office ;

– the composition of the governing body of the office, with the number of members representing the local authority and the number of members representing the professions and activities involved in tourism in the group of municipalities.

La délibération de l’organe délibérant instituant un office de tourisme intercommunal sous une forme autre que celle de l’établissement industriel et commercial doit au moins fixer :

– le statut juridique de l’office de tourisme ;

– la composition de l’organe délibérant de l’office, avec le nombre des membres représentant la collectivité et le nombre des membres représentant les professions et activités intéressées par le tourisme dans le groupement de communes.
