Article R135-2 of the French Intellectual Property Code

The body mentioned in article L. 135-3 shall keep a register specifying the date and result of consultation of all the sources mentioned in article R. 135-1. It shall keep documentary evidence of these consultations.

For the application of 2° of Article L. 135-3, the organisation communicates to the minister in charge of culture the contact details of the person or service to which the holders of the rights in the work must contact in order to put an end to the uses provided for in Article L. 135-2.

L’organisme mentionné à l’article L. 135-3 tient un registre précisant la date et le résultat de la consultation de l’ensemble des sources mentionnées à l’article R. 135-1. Il conserve les pièces justifiant de ces consultations.

Pour l’application du 2° de l’article L. 135-3, l’organisme communique au ministre chargé de la culture les coordonnées de la personne ou du service auquel les titulaires des droits sur l’œuvre doivent s’adresser pour mettre fin aux utilisations prévues à l’article L. 135-2.
