Article R142-24 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

The rights of information, access, rectification and limitation of data shall be exercised under the conditions laid down respectively in Articles 13, 15, 16 and 18 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC:

>The rights of information, access, rectification and limitation of data shall be exercised under the conditions laid down respectively in Articles 13, 15, 16 and 18 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC:

1° In the case of residence permits and travel documents, to the issuing authority;

2° In the case of expulsion measures, to the prefect responsible for managing the expulsion file.

Les droits d’information, d’accès, de rectification et à la limitation des données s’exercent dans les conditions prévues respectivement aux articles 13,15,16 et 18 du règlement (UE) 2016/679 du 27 avril 2016 relatif à la protection des personnes physiques à l’égard du traitement des données à caractère personnel et à la libre circulation de ces données, et abrogeant la directive 95/46/ CE :


1° S’agissant du titre de séjour et du titre de voyage, auprès de l’autorité de délivrance ;


2° S’agissant des mesures d’éloignement, auprès du préfet en charge de la gestion du dossier d’éloignement.
