Article R154-2 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

For the application of this book in the Wallis and Futuna Islands:
1° The references to the mayor are replaced by the reference to the district chief;
2° The references to the judicial court are replaced by the reference to the court of first instance;
3° The references to the prefect are replaced by the reference to the senior administrator of the territory of the Wallis and Futuna Islands and the reference to the sub-prefectures is deleted ;
4° The references to the agents and departments of the prefectures and sub-prefectures are replaced by the reference to the agents and departments of the higher administration of the Wallis and Futuna Islands;
5° The references to Article R. 221-11 of the Code de l’action sociale et des familles and articles R. 221-15-1 to R. 221-15-9 of the same code are replaced by a reference to the provisions having the same purpose, applicable locally;
6° References to the regional director of customs are replaced by a reference to the head of the department reporting to the State and territorially competent in customs matters;
7° References to the external borders of the States party to the Schengen Agreement signed on 19 June 1990 are deleted;
8° References to Regulation (EC) No 390-2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 April 2009 are deleted;
9° The references to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC are replaced by the reference to the rules in force in mainland France under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016;
10° In Article R. 140-1, the references to Articles R. 142-11 to R. 142-25, R. 142-33 to R. 142-40 and R. 142-51 to R. 142-58 are deleted;
11° 9° of Article R. 142-1 is deleted;
12° The last paragraph of Article R. 142-4 is deleted;
13° In Article R. 142-6, the provisions of 5° and 6° are not applicable and the references to the commander of the gendarmerie group are replaced by the reference to the commander of the territorially competent gendarmerie;
14° In Appendix 7, cited by Article R. 142-44, J of II is worded as follows:
“J. Opinion of the services of the district responsible for social affairs or housing, relating to accommodation conditions, at the request of the head of the district;”.

Pour l’application du présent livre dans les îles Wallis et Futuna :
1° Les références au maire sont remplacées par la référence au chef de circonscription ;
2° Les références au tribunal judiciaire sont remplacées par la référence au tribunal de première instance ;
3° Les références au préfet sont remplacées par la référence à l’administrateur supérieur du territoire des îles Wallis et Futuna et la référence aux sous-préfectures est supprimée ;
4° Les références aux agents et services des préfectures et sous-préfectures sont remplacées par la référence aux agents et services de l’administration supérieure des îles Wallis et Futuna ;
5° Les références à l’article R. 221-11 du code de l’action sociale et des familles et aux articles R. 221-15-1 à R. 221-15-9 du même code sont remplacées par la référence aux dispositions, ayant le même objet, applicables localement ;
6° Les références au directeur régional des douanes sont remplacées par la référence au chef de service relevant de l’Etat et territorialement compétent en matière de douanes ;
7° Les références aux frontières extérieures des Etats parties à la convention signée à Schengen le 19 juin 1990 sont supprimées ;
8° Les références au règlement (CE) n° 390-2009 du Parlement européen et du Conseil du 23 avril 2009 sont supprimées ;
9° Les références au règlement (UE) 2016/679 du 27 avril 2016 relatif à la protection à la protection des personnes physiques à l’égard des traitements des données à caractère personnel et à la libre circulation de ces données, et abrogeant la directive 95/46/ CE sont remplacées par la référence aux règles en vigueur en métropole en vertu du règlement (UE) 2016/679 du 27 avril 2016 ;
10° A l’article R. 140-1, les références aux articles R. 142-11 à R. 142-25, R. 142-33 à R. 142-40 et R. 142-51 à R. 142-58 sont supprimées ;
11° Le 9° de l’article R. 142-1 est supprimé ;
12° Le dernier alinéa de l’article R. 142-4 est supprimé ;
13° A l’article R. 142-6, les dispositions du 5° et du 6° ne sont pas applicables et les références au commandant du groupement de gendarmerie sont remplacées par la référence au commandant de la gendarmerie territorialement compétent ;
14° A l’annexe 7, citée par l’article R. 142-44, le J du II est ainsi rédigé :
