Article R212-10-1 of the French Sports Code

The rector of the academic region, or the minister responsible for sports for the activities mentioned in c of 5° of article R. 212-7 and for the activity of mountain leader, draws up the list of members of the jury responsible for all training courses and qualifications:

– for each entry in the professional certificate, the professional diploma, the State diploma and the higher State diploma for youth, popular education and sport (CPJEPS, BPJEPS, DEJEPS, DESJEPS) ;

– or for each complementary certificate.

The jury may organise thematic or territorial working committees from among its members.

With the exception of validation of prior experience, the jury may call upon experts chosen from a list drawn up by the rector of the academic region or the minister responsible for sport for the activities mentioned in c of 5° of article R. 212-7 and for the activity of mountain leader.

Le recteur de région académique, ou le ministre chargé des sports pour les activités mentionnées au c du 5° de l’article R. 212-7 et pour l’activité d’accompagnateur en moyenne montagne, arrête la liste des membres du jury compétent pour l’ensemble des formations et certifications :

– pour chaque mention du certificat professionnel, du brevet professionnel, du diplôme d’Etat et du diplôme d’Etat supérieur de la jeunesse, de l’éducation populaire et du sport (CPJEPS, BPJEPS, DEJEPS, DESJEPS) ;

– ou pour chaque certificat complémentaire.

Le jury peut organiser en son sein des commissions de travail thématiques ou territoriales.

Le jury peut faire appel, à l’exception de la validation des acquis de l’expérience, à des experts choisis au sein d’une liste arrêtée par le recteur de région académique ou le ministre chargé des sports pour les activités mentionnées au c du 5° de l’article R. 212-7 et pour l’activité d’accompagnateur en moyenne montagne.
