Article R212-10-18 of the French Sports Code

The number of trainees who can be accommodated in a training session is determined by the training organisation, within the limits of the authorisation decision, in particular on the basis of the location and characteristics of the training or the public accommodated.

When the number of applicants who satisfy the prerequisites for entry to the training or who benefit from exemptions or equivalences exceeds the capacity of the training organisation, the latter may organise additional selection tests. It must inform the candidates in advance of the procedures for organising these tests, their content and the selection criteria used to decide between them.

When they are provided for, these additional selection tests are harmonised nationally by order of the Minister for Youth and Sports for the speciality, the specialisation, the option or the complementary certificate in order to guarantee equal access for people wishing to enter training in the country.

These provisions do not apply to the courses provided for in articles D. 212-27-1 and D. 212-43-1.

Le nombre de stagiaires susceptibles d’être accueillis dans une session de formation est déterminé, dans les limites de la décision d’habilitation, par l’organisme de formation, en fonction notamment du lieu et des caractéristiques de la formation ou du public accueilli.

Lorsque le nombre de candidats satisfaisant aux exigences préalables à l’entrée en formation ou bénéficiant de dispenses ou d’équivalences excède les capacités d’accueil de l’organisme de formation, celui-ci peut organiser des épreuves de sélection complémentaires. Il doit au préalable informer les candidats des modalités d’organisation de ces épreuves de leur contenu et des critères de sélection retenus pour les départager.

Quand elles sont prévues, ces épreuves de sélection complémentaires font l’objet par arrêté du ministre chargé de la jeunesse et des sports d’une harmonisation nationale de la spécialité, de la mention, de l’option ou du certificat complémentaire afin de garantir l’égalité d’accès aux personnes désirant entrer en formation sur le territoire.

Ces dispositions ne s’appliquent pas aux formations prévues aux articles D. 212-27-1 et D. 212-43-1.
