In addition to verifying the conditions set out in Article L. 2151-5, the Agence de la biomédecine assesses the feasibility of the protocol by taking into account the status of the organisation and ensuring the competence of the person in charge of the research team. To this end, it will in particular take into consideration the titles, functions and scientific work of the person in charge of the research. The Agence de la biomédecine also takes into account the procedures and techniques used by the applicant. It assesses the means and devices used to guarantee the safety and traceability of embryos and prevent their contamination.

Outre la vérification des conditions fixées à l’article L. 2151-5, l’agence de la biomédecine apprécie la faisabilité du protocole en tenant compte du statut de l’organisme et en s’assurant de la compétence du responsable de l’équipe de recherche. A ce titre, elle prend notamment en considération les titres, fonctions et travaux scientifiques du responsable de la recherche. En outre, l’agence de la biomédecine tient compte des procédés et techniques mis en oeuvre par le demandeur. Elle évalue les moyens et dispositifs garantissant la sécurité, la traçabilité des embryons et la prévention de leur contamination.
