Article R2333-120 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The fee payable to a municipality for the occupation of its public domain by pipelines transporting hydrocarbons or chemical products is set by deliberation of the municipal council after receiving the opinion of the pipeline operator. For pipelines declared to be in the public interest or in the public interest and in the event of disagreement by the operator, the fee payable each year may not exceed the ceiling set by article R. 2333-114 and updated by article R. 2333-117.

La redevance due à une commune pour l’occupation de son domaine public par les canalisations de transport d’hydrocarbures ou de produits chimiques est fixée par délibération du conseil municipal après avis de l’exploitant de la canalisation. Pour les canalisations déclarées d’utilité publique ou d’intérêt général et en cas de désaccord de l’exploitant, la redevance due chaque année ne peut dépasser le plafond fixé par l’article R. 2333-114 et mis à jour par l’article R. 2333-117.
