Article R2335-9 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The fee provided for in 1° of article L. 2335-10 is payable by drinking water utilities regardless of how these utilities are operated.

Notwithstanding any provisions to the contrary, these utilities are authorised to recover the amount of the fee from users, without any surcharge for recovery or other costs.

La redevance prévue au 1° de l’article L. 2335-10 est due par les services de distribution d’eau potable quel que soit le mode d’exploitation de ces services.

Nonobstant toutes dispositions contraires, ces services sont autorisés à récupérer auprès des usagers le montant de la redevance, sans majoration pour recouvrement ou autres frais.
