Article R2431-36 of the French Public procurement code

When, as part of a research programme receiving public financial aid, works are carried out for the purposes of research, testing or experimentation, all the provisions of this chapter apply, with the exception of articles R. 2431-4 to R. 2431-7 relating to the basic assignment for building works.
The content of each of the elements of the assignment described in this chapter may be adapted to suit the specific purpose of the research, testing or experimentation to be carried out on the work.

Article R2431-36

Lorsque, dans le cadre d’un programme de recherche bénéficiant d’une aide financière publique, des ouvrages sont réalisés à titre de recherche, d’essais ou d’expérimentation, l’ensemble des dispositions du présent chapitre est applicable à l’exclusion des articles R. 2431-4 à R. 2431-7 relatifs à la mission de base pour les ouvrages de bâtiment.
Le contenu de chacun des éléments de mission décrits au présent chapitre peut comporter des adaptations en fonction de l’objet précis de la recherche, des essais ou de l’expérimentation auquel doit répondre la réalisation de l’ouvrage.
