Article R2563-6 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The communes of Guadeloupe, Guyane, Martinique, La Réunion and Mayotte benefit from the special allocation mentioned in Article L. 2335-1 under the following conditions:

1° The first part of the grant is allocated to municipalities whose population, as defined in article L. 2334-2, is less than 5,000 inhabitants;

2° A second part of the allocation is paid in addition to the first part:

> a) To municipalities receiving the first part of the allocation.
a) To municipalities receiving the first part whose population, according to the most recent census, is less than 200 inhabitants. For these municipalities, the amount of the allocation paid under the second part is equal to the amount paid under the first part;

> b) To municipalities receiving the first part of the allocation, the amount of the allocation paid under the second part is equal to the amount paid under the first part.
b) Communes receiving the first part whose population, as shown by the last census, is between 200 and 500 inhabitants. For these communes, the amount of the allocation under the second part is equal to 50% of the amount paid under the first part.

Les communes de Guadeloupe, de Guyane, de Martinique, de La Réunion et de Mayotte bénéficient de la dotation particulière mentionnée à l’article L. 2335-1 dans les conditions suivantes :


1° La première part de la dotation est attribuée aux communes dont la population, telle que définie à l’article L. 2334-2, est inférieure à 5 000 habitants ;


2° Une deuxième part de la dotation est versée en sus de la première part :


a) Aux communes bénéficiaires de la première part dont la population, telle qu’elle résulte du dernier recensement, est inférieure à 200 habitants. Pour ces communes, le montant de l’attribution versée au titre de la deuxième part est égal au montant versé au titre de la première part ;


b) Aux communes bénéficiaires de la première part dont la population, telle qu’elle résulte du dernier recensement, est comprise entre 200 et 500 habitants. Pour ces communes, le montant de l’attribution au titre de la deuxième part est égal à 50 % du montant versé au titre de la première part.
