Article R3132-17 of the French Labour Code

The extension authorisations provided for in Article L. 3132-23 apply to establishments located in the same locality, carrying on the same activity and serving the same clientele.

The extension authorisations provided for in Article L. 3132-23 are granted on the basis of a collective agreement applicable to the establishment concerned by the extension or, failing this, a unilateral decision by the employer approved by referendum.

Article R3132-17

Les autorisations d’extension prévues à l’article L. 3132-23 sont applicables aux établissements situés dans la même localité, exerçant la même activité et s’adressant à la même clientèle.

Les autorisations d’extension prévues à l’article L. 3132-23 sont accordées au vu d’un accord collectif applicable à l’établissement concerné par l’extension ou, à défaut, d’une décision unilatérale de l’employeur approuvée par référendum.
