Article R3142-48 of the French Labour Code

At the end of the meeting of the body for which the representation leave is granted, the department responsible for convening the members of this body issues the employees with a certificate stating that they were actually present.
This certificate is given to the employer when the employee returns to work.

A l’issue de la réunion de l’instance au titre de laquelle est accordé le congé de représentation, le service responsable de la convocation des membres de cette instance délivre aux salariés une attestation constatant leur présence effective.
Cette attestation est remise à l’employeur au moment de la reprise du travail.
