Article R322-2 of the French Insurance Code

Undertakings subject to State supervision under article L. 310-1 may have no other object than to carry out the operations mentioned in article R. 321-1, and those directly arising therefrom, to the exclusion of any other commercial activity.

They may underwrite insurance contracts on behalf of other authorised undertakings with which they have concluded an agreement for this purpose.

Article R322-2

Les entreprises soumises au contrôle de l’Etat par l’article L. 310-1 ne peuvent avoir d’autre objet que celui de pratiquer les opérations mentionnées à l’article R. 321-1, ainsi que celles qui en découlent directement, à l’exclusion de toute autre activité commerciale.

Elles peuvent faire souscrire des contrats d’assurance pour le compte d’autres entreprises agréées avec lesquelles elles ont conclu un accord à cet effet.
