Article R326-4 of the French Insurance Code

In the event of the implementation of a reorganisation measure or the opening of winding-up proceedings in respect of an insurance undertaking whose head office is situated in a Member State of the European Union, the appointment of an administrator or liquidator by the home Member State is established by the presentation of a certified copy of the original instrument appointing him or of any other certificate drawn up by the competent authorities of that State. This document must be accompanied by a translation into French.

En cas de mise en oeuvre d’une mesure d’assainissement ou d’ouverture d’une procédure de liquidation d’une entreprise d’assurance dont le siège social est situé dans un Etat membre de l’Union européenne, la nomination d’un administrateur ou d’un liquidateur par l’Etat membre d’origine est établie par la présentation d’une copie certifiée conforme à l’original de l’acte qui le nomme ou de tout autre certificat établi par les autorités compétentes de cet Etat.
