Article R3333-5 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

Where the works of the public electricity transmission and distribution networks, located on the territory of the department, are operated by separate legal entities, the overall amount of the fee, set by the departmental council in accordance with the procedures laid down in article R. 3333-4, is borne by these different legal entities in proportion to the length of the networks they operate on the territory of this department.

Lorsque les ouvrages des réseaux publics de transport et de distribution d’énergie électrique, implantés sur le territoire du département, sont exploités par des personnes morales distinctes, le montant global de la redevance, fixé par le conseil départemental selon les modalités prévues à l’article R. 3333-4, est supporté par ces différentes personnes morales au prorata de la longueur des réseaux qu’elles exploitent sur le territoire de ce département.
