Article R342-26 of the French Tourism Code

The duties performed by the project manager provided for in article R. 342-4 include at least :

a) Checking that the conveyor has been installed correctly;

b) Checking that its safety systems are working properly and that, taking into account the technical and safety rules taken into account for its design and construction, it is compatible with the conditions foreseen for its operation;

c) Drawing up a report;

d) Issue of a certificate showing that the conveyor belt complies with the technical and safety regulations set out in Article R. 342-3.

The list of checks referred to in a and b is set by an order of the Minister for Transport.

Les fonctions exercées par le maître d’oeuvre prévu à l’article R. 342-4 comprennent au moins :

a) La vérification de l’installation correcte du tapis roulant ;

b) La vérification du bon fonctionnement de ses systèmes de sécurité et de sa compatibilité, compte tenu des règles techniques et de sécurité prises en compte pour sa conception et sa réalisation, avec les conditions prévues pour son exploitation ;

c) L’établissement d’un compte rendu ;

d) La délivrance d’une attestation démontrant la conformité du tapis roulant aux dispositions de la réglementation technique et de sécurité prévue à l’article R. 342-3.

La liste des vérifications mentionnées aux a et b est fixée par un arrêté du ministre chargé des transports.
