Le représentant pour la gestion des sinistres mentionné à l’article L. 362-3 réunit les informations nécessaires à la constitution et à la gestion des dossiers d’indemnisation. Il représente l’entreprise d’assurance auprès des personnes qui ont subi un préjudice et règle les sinistres. Il représente également cette entreprise vis-à-vis des autorités et juridictions françaises pour le règlement des sinistres.
