The committee shall examine the knowledge, skills and competences acquired during the initial training, professional experience and lifelong learning of the person concerned, which have been validated by a competent body.
Where the training of the person concerned relates to substantially different subjects or where one or more components of his professional activity do not exist in the corresponding profession in the Member State of origin or have not been the subject of training in that State, the Commission shall verify whether his initial training, professional experience and lifelong learning are such as to cover, in whole or in part, these differences. If this is not the case, the commission proposes a compensatory measure, consisting either, at the applicant’s choice, of an adaptation period or an aptitude test, or of the obligation of an adaptation period or an aptitude test, or, where applicable, both, depending on the respective levels of qualification.
The Director General of the Centre National de Gestion, on behalf of the Minister for Health, notifies the person concerned, in a duly reasoned decision, of the content and duration of the compensatory measures envisaged.
The aptitude test shall be taken within six months of this notification.
