At the first meeting following the renewal by half and under the chairmanship of the oldest member, the Board concerned, meeting in plenary session, shall elect its Chairman and the other members of the Executive Committee from among the full members.
The Executive Committee shall comprise at least the Chairman and a Treasurer. Its number may not exceed two-fifths of the total number of full members when this number is greater than eight.
The election to each of these positions may only take place if the quorum is reached.
The election takes place by secret ballot, by a two-round uninominal majority vote. An absolute majority of the votes cast is required in the first round. In the second round, the election is held by relative majority.
In the event of a tie between the leading candidates in the second round, the eldest candidate is declared elected.
The composition of the executive committee may be specified in the electoral regulations specific to each order.
