Article R427-5 of the French Insurance Code

The management referred to in Article R. 427-4 is accounted for separately from the other operations carried out by the fund.

The available assets of the fund are invested by the Caisse centrale de réassurance in the assets mentioned in article R. 332-2.

When the assets capitalised by the fund are less than 15 million euros, these assets are invested in the assets mentioned in 1° to 3° of article R. 332-2. When these assets are equal to or greater than 15 million euros, the fund’s assets are subject to the rules set out in articles R. 332-3 and R. 332-3-1. For the purposes of applying the rules set out in these articles, the amount of each category of assets is related to the amount of the fund’s available assets.

Article R427-5

La gestion mentionnée à l’article R. 427-4 fait l’objet d’une comptabilité distincte de celle des autres opérations pratiquées par la caisse.

Les avoirs disponibles du fonds sont placés par la Caisse centrale de réassurance en actifs mentionnés à l’article R. 332-2.

Lorsque les avoirs capitalisés par le fonds sont d’un montant inférieur à 15 millions d’euros, ces avoirs sont placés en actifs mentionnés aux 1° à 3° de l’article R. 332-2. Lorsque ces avoirs sont d’un montant supérieur ou égal à 15 millions d’euros, l’actif du fonds est soumis aux règles mentionnées aux articles R. 332-3 et R. 332-3-1. Pour l’application des règles figurant à ces articles, le montant de chacune des catégories d’actifs est rapporté au montant des avoirs disponibles du fonds.
