Article R431-16-2 of the French Insurance Code

The State guarantee under Articles L. 431-4, L. 431-5, L. 431-9 and L. 431-10 of this Code gives rise to the payment of remuneration by the Caisse Centrale de Réassurance. The terms and conditions for the commitment, call and remuneration of the guarantee are set out in an agreement between the Minister for the Economy and Finance and the Caisse Centrale de Réassurance.

La garantie de l’Etat au titre des articles L. 431-4, L. 431-5, L. 431-9 et L. 431-10 du présent code donne lieu, de la part de la Caisse centrale de réassurance, au versement d’une rémunération. Les conditions et modalités de l’engagement, de la mise en jeu et de la rémunération de la garantie font l’objet d’une convention passée entre le ministre chargé de l’économie et des finances et la Caisse centrale de réassurance.
