Article R433-2 of the French Consumer Code

When reference is made to certification in the advertising, labelling or presentation of any product or service, as well as on commercial documents of any kind relating thereto, the following information, shall be brought to the attention of the consumer or user:

1° The name or business name of the certification body or the guarantee mark;

2° The name of the certification reference system used;

3° The methods by which the certification reference system may be consulted or obtained.

Article R433-2

Lorsqu’il est fait référence à la certification dans la publicité, l’étiquetage ou la présentation de tout produit ou service, ainsi que sur les documents commerciaux de toute nature qui s’y rapportent, les informations qui suivent, sont portées à la connaissance du consommateur ou de l’utilisateur :

1° Le nom ou la raison sociale de l’organisme certificateur ou la marque de garantie ;

2° La dénomination du référentiel de certification utilisé ;

3° Les modalités selon lesquelles le référentiel de certification peut être consulté ou obtenu.
