Article R441-27 of the French Insurance Code

The conversion of the agreement entails, within a period of one year, the transformation of the operations subject to conversion into life annuity operations covered, in full and at all times, by mathematical provisions.

The share of the reserves attributable to each member in the conversion of the operations in question determines the benefit provided by the substitute insurance operation.

This distribution and the amount of the benefits of the substitute insurance transaction are determined on technical bases defined by order of the Minister for the Economy.

La conversion de la convention entraîne, dans un délai d’un an, la transformation des opérations faisant l’objet de la conversion en opérations de rentes viagères couvertes, intégralement et à tout moment, par des provisions mathématiques.

La part des provisions revenant à chaque adhérent dans la conversion des opérations considérées détermine la prestation que comporte l’opération d’assurance de substitution.

Cette répartition et le montant des prestations de l’opération d’assurance de substitution sont déterminés sur des bases techniques définies par arrêté du ministre chargé de l’économie.
