Article R4412-160 of the French Labour Code

Reinforced individual monitoring of workers is provided under the conditions laid down in Articles R. 4624-22 to R. 4624-28:

1° Either if exposure to a concentration of lead in the air is greater than 0.05 mg/ m ³, calculated as a time-weighted average on an eight-hour basis ;

2° Or if a blood lead level in excess of 200 µg/l of blood for men or 100 µg/l of blood for women is measured in a worker.

Un suivi individuel renforcé des travailleurs est assuré dans les conditions prévues aux articles R. 4624-22 à R. 4624-28 :

1° Soit si l’exposition à une concentration de plomb dans l’air est supérieure à 0,05 mg/ m ³, calculée comme une moyenne pondérée en fonction du temps sur une base de huit heures ;

2° Soit si une plombémie supérieure à 200 µg/ l de sang pour les hommes ou 100 µg/ l de sang pour les femmes est mesurée chez un travailleur.
